now this is cool.

any monitor touch-sensitive
this device will make any monitor a touch-sensitive. kinda steep at $180-$370. cool.
the new handspring treo is looking pretty cool. it seems to be the best phone/pda/digi-cam all in one device yet. of course it won't be out until october but

i have a pda. it's a casio cassiopoeia which runs on the pocket pc operating system. it's cool. it does everything i need it to do. i use it daily to keep up with appointments, cause i'm sooo busy, and addresses and to play games on when in meetings that i'm not really all that needed in except to warm a seat. but mine doesnt have bulilt in wi-fi (wireless internet).
this one does. and even if mine had wi-fi, which i could add with a $90 card, it doesn't have the nifty thumboard. it would be incredibly slow scribbling out emails or instant message or blog entries with the stylus. plus, it's smaller than mine. so if i had this one i wouldn't have to play games during those meetings, i could do any of the before mentioned much more productive things.

The new adaptor is designed to fit into the device's plug-in card slot, and operates as easily as swapping out video games. The unit's advanced compression software enables it to fit up to 75 minutes of video and audio onto a standard 64-Mbyte Secure Digital flash card, the company said.
the limitations on the video this can show are fairly significant. however, it is only a matter of time before someone will come up with a way to make it play bigger and better things.
